Dr. Nang May Thin Nwe, professionally known as Teacher Ivy, founded Ivy Education Group with Sayar Aung Htet Khant in 2020. As Founder and Academic Director, she has helped build the organisation into a trusted provider of English education in Myanmar.
Her academic path combines a Bachelor of Dental Medicine from the University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay, with a sustained commitment to English language teaching. Her professional qualifications include Cambridge CELTA and Cambridge DELTA Module 1.
Teacher Ivy leads academic innovation, curriculum development, and teacher training across the group. Her data-informed research on IELTS preparation and her work as a speaker for education organisations, including the British Council, inform practical learning experiences for students and educators.
