Dr. Nang May Thin Nwe (Teacher Ivy)
Teacher Ivy obtained her Primary and Secondary education from Crane International School of Myanmar (Yangon) before continuing her matriculation examination.
After graduating from The University of Dental Medicine, Mandalay in 2019, she went on to pursue IELTS needed for her further studies. On the journey, she has gained invaluable experiences and techniques on IELTS and started sharing them on IELTS Ivy page through affortable intensive classes and knowledge sharing live sessions and videos on Facebook.
Teacher Harry
Teacher Harry commenced his teaching career in 2015, immediately after completing the matriculation examination, by tutoring high school students and young learners in English. Throughout his university years, he served as a lead teacher in the “Service-Learning” programme, collaborating with local and international universities to instruct Burmese and Thai students residing in rural areas. He held the position of President at DUESEC (Dagon University English Specialization and Educational Community) to foster students’ English proficiency and academic performance.
In 2021, he secured a position as a teacher at IELTS Ivy, where he dedicated himself to addressing the educational needs and growth of students preparing for the IELTS exam. Subsequently, in January 2022, he was appointed as a teacher at Ivy English School, allowing him to further enhance his teaching expertise and meet the students’ requirements in terms of resilience, kindness, and an unwavering passion for learning.
He possesses extensive experience in teaching students from diverse cultures and nationalities. His exceptional commitment and diligent approach make him an excellent mentor for students.
Teacher Jess
A friendly and patient young teacher with years of teaching experience. Teacher Jess spent his high school years at one of the renowned schools in Taunggyi, BEHS (4).
He helped a lot of pupils with their academic studies before he studied at University of Medicine in Taunggyi until 2020. When the pandemic disrupted his education, he decided to dive deeper into the teaching profession. He had been teaching English-based subjects to people of different ages before he found the opportunity to focus on IELTS.
